Hey there! My name is James Burke! You might know me as JimmyBVisuals or the guy with the cool edits on Instagram but here is a little bit of my story on what inspired me to start making sports content/media and start my own brand!

When I was a senior in high school, I realized my dreams of becoming a college/pro athlete were not realistic anymore. I wanted to stay close to sports after my playing days were over in some way possible. I’ve always had a passion for making sports content. Whether it was YouTube Videos, Cool Edits, TikToks, you name it! So in December 2022 I decided to make an Instagram account where I planned on making football edits for NFL players. I didn’t think anything was gonna go far until one of my first edits was liked by New York Giants WR Isaiah Hodgins! That day I knew I had potential. I experimented with making tons of edits and trying to get better every day and made a bunch of edits for 6 months after that and in May of 2023, New York Giants TE Daniel Bellinger posted my edit of him on his Instagram account! I was super excited knowing that an NFL player noticed and posted my creative work and that day I knew this was going to be my career path going forward!

Fast forward to the fall of 2023. After all the amazing edits and work I’ve put in over the past 6-8 months I realized it was time to pick up a camera and make content of my own! I was entering my freshman year of college, so I had to act on it quick!

I started going to my school’s football practice and taking pictures (Kutztown University). I fell in love with photography after a few practices and I wanted to do more sporting events. I took my freshman year to focus on free work as I wanted to learn and understand the basics of Sports Videography/Photography. I signed up for countless basketball showcases around the area and worked other events for free to help make connections and get my name out there during the fall/winter season of my freshman year!

When I got home for spring break that year, I thought a good idea to help get my name out there even more and make more connections was to do a small private workout video for College, NFL Players! I have increased my following a ton since uploading those workout videos. When I got home for the summer, I realized I wasn’t going to have many events going on in June so I decided to launch a series on my Instagram page and dedicated the whole month to “30 Mixtapes 30 days” and I have gained over 200 followers and 100K+ impressions from that series. On Day 3 of the series, New York Giants LB Bobby Okereke reposted my edit of him and got tremendous feedback!

In August of 2024 I was hired by my college, Kutztown University of Pennsylvania to be the Head of Creative Video and produce all creative video content throughout the season. From Reels to Weekly Hype Videos to Game Recap Videos. I am in charge of all of that!

My dream and the #1 goal when I’m out of college is to get a full time gig/job with an NFL or NBA team or a big time college team. I want to work for a pro athlete 1on1, and run my own business!
